First, in Bio-detection, Dycor teams with TSI to offer the most widely fielded sensor technology in the world, FLAPS. Evolving from seminal work by DRDC Suffield, Canada in the 90’s, FLAPS II was deployed with the US Army, the German Navy and many other sites around the world. Building on its already solid reputation in military deployment AND as a referee system, FLAPS has been developed for smaller footprint, weight and increased performance as FLAPS III. Many governments are already upgrading to FLAPS III, and it has found a niche as the preferred solution for armored vehicle systems. FLAPS technology is now successfully deployed in CFLAPS, a compact, affordable, full-featured bio-detector, finding applications for field-deployed requirements as well as research. CFLAPS features CBNET, the comprehensive software suite which allows tuning of detection parameters to meet local conditions. The core of CBNET is also used on Dycor customized bio-solutions because of its flexibility and ease of use.

For clients needing Biological Aerosol Sampling and Collection, the XMX family regularly perform flawlessly in Military, Public Health and Research applications. XMX collectors can handle dry or liquid samples, be remotely controlled and are networkable for successful integration into a detection suite. XMX has been used successfully in field programs designed to sample Avian flu, SARS and Legionella. It is also the standard equipment of national Public Health agencies, proving its wide-ranging capability. XMX systems are equally at home in environmental monitoring and in forensic analysis involving biological aerosols.
