2008 EVENTS

CBRNE CONVERGENCE 22-24 SEPTEMBER, BUCHAREST, ROMANIA

CBRNe World's 2008 annual conference and exhibition will take place in Bucharest, Romania, 22nd-24th September 2008 with the support of Romania’s Ministry of Defence.

The event will take the form of a two day streamed conference on the 22nd and 23th September at the JW Marriott Bucharest Grand Hotel followed by a visit on the 24th September to the Romanian MOD NBC Training School for a bespoke demonstration of Romania’s CBRNE capabilities

The conference will have the theme of 'CONVERGENCE, GROWING CLOSER, STAYING DISTINCT' and looks at merging civilian and military response to CBRN and EOD/IED threats.

CBRNE operations in both the civil and military sector are growing more complex with the potential inclusion of both the IED threat and the counter narcotics mission. CBRNe World's editor, Gwyn Winfield is putting together a panel of speakers notable for having led the pack in dealing with these challenges. Combining the very best from North America and Western Europe with speakers from Central and eastern Europe, the Middles East and Asia, this promises to be the most innovative and cost effective CBRNE conference of 2008.

The conference on the 22nd and 23th September will be accompanied by an exhibition of the most advanced technology available to counter the CBRNE threat.
